List of products by manufacturer Champagne Frerejean Frères

A breath of fresh air is blowing over Champagne with the confirmation of this young house among the most qualitative in the region.

It was born in 2005, founded by Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe Frerejean. These siblings of Champagne origin dreamed of confidential artisanal production on their excellent plots in the heart of the Côte des Blancs.

The history of Frerejean Frère champagne is also linked to a Champagne personality. That of Didier Pierson. Didier Pierson is a bit like a enfant terrible of Champagne. He spent his life between Great Britain and France, part in the south of England, on the Hambledon estate vineyard, the other part on the Côte des Blancs vineyard with the FrereJean Frères house.

The adventure began in 2005 with the sale of Taittinger champagne to an American Starwood pension fund (which subsequently sold it to part of the Taittinger family). In fact, the Taittinger family is large and has many branches, including Rodolphe, Guillaume and Richard Frerejean-Taittinger. But damn it can't lie. And by the greatest of luck, at the same time, the three brothers met Didier Pierson during a tasting in London. ”We started with a cuvée. Almost a family cuvée bearing the name of the Frerejean Frères family. A 2006 vintage. I then make a champagne, a small production of 5,000 bottles, but I like the idea of working in a team "explains Didier Pierson. And the business is going up, Didier Pierson therefore joins forces with the three brothers and makes four hectares available in Avize.

Here the cuvées undergo their malolactic fermentation and are weakly dosed. These wines are balanced, very aromatic, while keeping a nice freshness. In fact, it goes perfectly with gastronomy. The Champagne principle of "high added value" is evident with plot vinification from the terroirs of Cramant, Avize, Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Mesnil-sur-Oger.
