The field of Hortus, owned by the family Orliac is installed in the valley between the Pic Saint Loup and Hortus near Valflaunès. Syrah and Mourvedre dominate Grenache aged in barrels for aging allows for great wines. The winery and cellar wood are built in a beautiful setting amidst the pines. Val de Montferrand Millésime 2013 A renowned vintage from the Pic Saint Loup appellation, the grand cuvée is full of matter and structure. A beautiful golden dress. Aromas of honey and dried fruits.The palate is frank with a nice balance. Good persistence and excellent aging potential.
