With an area of 32 hectares, the Bébian vineyard extends over the foothills of the Cévennes, in the Coteaux du Languedoc area classified as Cru Pézenas. One of the jewels of the region!
It has the peculiarity of being extremely fragmented. Indeed, over time, only the 43 parcels representing the greatest geological interest, the best exhibition, that is to say a south, south-west orientation, have been conserved.
For wines, the grape variety consists of Syrah, a mass selection from Chave en Hermitage and 2 hectares recently planted from Beaucastel to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Grenache from Château Rayas in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Of Mourvèdre from Domaine Tempier in Bandol.
They grow on arid and stony soils of 3 natures: limestone and clay-limestone Villafranchien, basalt of volcanic flows, argilo-siliceous (pebbles of white quartz and travertine / pink marble).
