The vineyards are located on the land of the "Land of Argence" between Rhone and Camargue. He belonged to the Bishop of Arles of the eleventh to the thirteenth century.
His name is linked to the silvery leaves of alder and olive trees swaying in the Mistral.
The floor of pebbles called 'progress' on clay and marl helps balance the wine.
