La Matane, a magnificent place lost in the middle of the garrigue, pine trees and boxwoods... A successful conversion for Joël Descan. A wine lover, connoisseur of the world of the vine and son of a wine grower, he quickly found his style. In addition to the family plots, a few plantations have taken place: chardonnay, sangiovese and gros manseng. Since 2014, a desire to move forward, to progress by being open and listening to the work of fellow winemakers! The estate (6.5 ha) is on the way to converting to organic farming.
The name of the cuvées corresponds to the cadastral number of a parcel.

                

Grape varieties :

30% Chenin, 30% Gros Manseng, 30% Roussanne and 10% Chardonnay.

Tasting notes:

This is a dry white wine made from a rather atypical blend of Chenin, Gros Manseng and Roussanne. A voluminous white wine with a southern feel, enhanced by the liveliness of the Chenin and Gros Manseng.
This beautiful wine is already very pleasant and will benefit from a little ageing.

An elegant and complex dry white wine.

Food and wine pairing :

Fillet of bass marinated in citrus fruits, combawa zest and thyme. Mixed shellfish a la plancha flavoured with kari-goss.
