La Petite Parcelle
de Grenache 2019
Vin de France
The plot: 0.98 ha of Grenache Noir (50 years old) at a place called Les Pointes, Jonquières terroir on the Larzac terraces.
Mother rock of the ancient Quaternary, a glacis of erosion and accumulation that appears as a spreading of limestone pebbles of cryoclastic origin, the thickness of which can reach ten meters. The corresponding soils are not very evolved, formed by cryoclastic limestone gravel from the massifs located upstream.
100% black grenache.
The expressive and generous nose brings fruity notes of cherry, strawberry and blackcurrant with a slight hint of spices including pepper. From the start, the fruit is felt, with toasted hazelnut, on light tannins. Generously fruity wine, with an "old-fashioned" structure, round and fresh.
Deep and complex red wine.
Food and wine :
Rack of free-range pig ribs with prunes, sweet potato mousseline with cumin. Wild boar stew with grenache and cherries.
Aging potential in your cellar:
