Les Cerises 2019
The cuvée is called "Les Cerises" because the wine evokes the freshness of this fruit and it is the first ripe fruit in the year before the peach and the apricot.
52% syrah, 17% grenache noir, 17% carignan and 14% cinsault.
The color is translucent dark garnet. The nose is fine and charming, on notes of violet and peony, bigarreau cherry, smoked bacon, with a hint of straight hot slate. The finish is subtly chewy, with fine bitterness and stony salinity.
