Deanston is a confidential distillery.
Deanston was established in 1967 in the town of the same name, located in the county of Perth, in the south of the Highlands.
Being located on the banks of the River Teith, the distillery uses this water for the production of the distillate, a fresh and pure water, slightly spicy which adds a unique character to Deanston.
The entire Deanston range is unfiltered.
The distillery served as the setting for part of the filming of Ken Loach's film La Part des Anges, starring Charles MacLean, the famous malt whiskey specialist.

Deaston 18 year old is bottled at 46.3% without cold filtration, aged for 18 years in ex-Kentucky first fill bourbon casks.

These eighteen long years spent in the cellars of the distillery have allowed him to develop a very elegant woody note, but also nice malty and fruity notes, and a lot of sweetness. A tasting that concludes with a very long, particularly rich and fragrant finish.

46.3% vol. 70 cl.
