The vines of Pic Saint Loup is part of a qualitative priority. For thirty years, replanting were made almost in their entirety with three dominant varieties: Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Chronologically, Grenache planted heavily into the 80 holds the memory of the Pic Saint Loup. Avid heat it gives bold wine, round and rich. Syrah, but eloquent newest variety is well adapted to this region. Its aromatic typicity its organoleptic characteristics oriented aromas of flowers (violet), fruits (raspberry and blackcurrant), its color and its power to keep make the dominant grape.
