D'Arenberg
The Olive Grove 2020
Mc Laren Vale
Australie - Australie méridionale
D'Arenberg is one of the most important properties in McLaren Vale. Founded in 1912 by Joseph Osborn, the estate has been passed down from generation to generation. Chester Osborn joined the business in 1984 as Cellar Master.
D'Arenberg cultivates its vineyards (as well as the vineyards of its suppliers) in a reasoned manner: minimal or no irrigation, no fertiliser, use of biodynamic preparations and the lunar calendar (with the advice of Biodynamics Australia)... As for its cellar practices, d'Arenberg is the only estate to use a screw press for both the white and red wines.
The name of this cuvée alludes to the many olive trees that stand among the Chardonnay vines and make harvesting complicated.

Wine with a bright yellow color with golden highlights. The bouquet is complex, powerful and elegant; fruits and flowers.
Domaine Courbis Saint Joseph (red)
Typical of Syrah, with aromas of violet and pepper. A very well done on fine tannins and a background of red fruit wine.
