Sottimano Barbaresco Basarin

Sottimano

It is a sumptuous wine, of great evolution, already very expressive in its youth but which does not yet completely depart from an elegant austerity. Huge potential, great wine!

Sottimano

Basarin 2016

Barbaresco DOCG

Italie - Piémont

Grape varieties:

100% nebbiolo

Tasting Notes:

An aromatic palette that shows itself well ripe, on red fruits, spices, notes of dry herbs and a woody hint which sweetens the contours a little. There is also a leather and blond tobacco side. The palate is round and spherical, and the alcohol level brings fat and roundness to the mid-palate. The structure of tannins structures the mouth in its second part and brings relief.

Wine style:

Powerful and complex red wine.

Food and wine :

Hare à la Royale and grated black truffle. Fillet of doe with long Java pepper and fondant parsnips

Aging potential in your cellar:

30 years

Analytic :

75 cl - 14.5 % volume
