Italie - Toscane
Here we are in the emerging area of Tuscany: the Maremma. The Montecucco appellation being the reference appellation, the fact that it is next to Montalcino (only separated by the Orcia river) is no accident. Wines are produced there with remarkable value for money. They are also wines that can be kept in the cellar.
A full mouth, with velvety tannins and remarkable length, carried by notes of very ripe red fruits, tobacco and violets ... We are delighted with this wine typical of the very beautiful Tuscan Sangiovese wines: it is the kind of purity and depth you would expect from a Brunello di Montalcino, but here at half the price.
