Domaine Le Conte des Floris
France - Languedoc
60% Syrah (on Carboniferous), 40% Mourvèdre and Grenache Noir, yields limited to 20 hl / ha.
Homo Habilis reveals an admirable transparency of flavor, with subtle spicy notes filigreeing the fruit. Despite its richness, the material is coherent, harmonious; the tannins are present but patinated by the virtues of long aging. A great wine, powerful but elegant and racy!
