Domaine de Majas

Col de Segas - Vieille Vigne 2016

Côtes Catalanes IGP

France - Roussillon

In the Roussillon region, between Fenouillèdes and the Pyrenees, Agnès and Alain Carrère are developing an organic vineyard with respect for tradition and for the best taste. They have chosen organic farming and viticulture without chemical inputs since 2007.

The Majas estate comprises some thirty hectares located in the Agly valley, on the high altitude terroirs of Claudiès-de-Fenouillèdes, where some of the plots contain old vines over 120 years old. They have taken advice from Tom Lubbe, of the Matassa estate, in order to get the best out of their land and to sublimate the flavours of their wines while respecting nature.
