Château de Mérande
Apremont - 1248 2019
Vin de Savoie Apremont AOP
The name of this cuvée recalls the disaster of the night of November 24 to 25, 1248 when a gigantic landslide covered part of the Chambéry cluse and the Grésivaudan valley revealing, culminating at more than 900 m, the highest cliff of France.
Vine planted on scree in 1919.
On the nose and on the palate, the aromas are delicate and fresh with obvious elegance and delicious fruit, white fleshed orchard fruits and English candy. But also blushes of verbena and other medicinal plants. Great freshness and lightness.
Deep and complex white wine.
Food and wine :
Oyster tartare, samphire and slivered almonds. Clam and razor clam salad, wasabi and sesame.
Aging potential in your cellar:
