Scylla

2018

USA - Californie

Grape varieties:

Carignan, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre.

Tasting Notes:

A bluffing wine. Here no grapes pomaded by the Californian sun.
A beautiful carmine dress. A raspberry nose with very fresh expressions. The palate is tender with melted tannins and instant youthfulness, but without any vegetal. Strawberry, raspberry and liquorice make up the nose of this wine. Light and refreshing, fragrant. Filled with earthy flavors of the forest, wild raspberries, lingonberries, strawberries, balancing with spices and silky tannins on the finish.

Wine style:

Delicate and complex red wine

Roasted Blonde d'Aquitaine, thyme and rosemary jus, chanterelles sautéed with liquorice. Black pork tenderloin glazed with sour cherry, eggplant caviar and garlic in a shirt.
