Cap Mattei can pride itself on being the emblematic aperitif of the Isle of Beauty since 1872.
Cap Mattei is an aperitif that was invented by Louis Napoleon Mattei in 1872. Since its creation, thanks to its unique recipe based on mistelle and botanicals, it has been a real success and not only on the Isle of Beauty where it was born. It was awarded numerous medals at the beginning of the 20th century.
Forgotten for a while, in 2016, three partners gave a new impetus to the brand by relying on the original recipes of Louis Napoléon Mattei.

Cap Mattei white Grande Réserve has the particularity of being enriched by macerations of citron peel. Originally from Asia, this citrus fruit was imported to Corsica at the beginning of the 19th century: it very quickly became emblematic of the region. It is in fact thanks to its intense citrus notes and slight bitterness that Cap Mattei has built its success.
