The name "Raisin de Loup" comes from the common name of a "weed", black nightshade, which grows on this clayey silt terrain.

Grape varieties:

Grenache noir, syrah and caladoc (cross between Grenache noir and Malbec).

Tasting Notes:

A terrestrial wine with a nose of undergrowth, taking you by the hand for a walk in the forest in the fall. Cocoa, the ripe fruit of Grenache, a hint of vanilla, fluid tannins. It is a warm, decidedly southern wine. This wine is rich without any heaviness, the tannins are completely melted.

Fruity and elegant red wine.

Food and wine :

Veal steak, chanterelle mushroom sauce and broccoli puree. Lamb tagine with olives.
