Follow Your Dreams is an extremely aromatic Carignan. The South African sun brings just enough maturity, the young vines bring exuberance and it is the acidity that gives the backbone to this wine.

Baby Bandito - Follow your dreams 2019
Afrique du Sud - Swartland
Baby Bandito is a project by Craig and Carla, around the themes of Street Art, childhood, courage which declines a series of bottles.
Follow Your Dreams - An expression often used by the famous street artist Banksy who also said: "All art is stolen" So Craig and Carla stole his phrase to name this cuvée!
On the label, a photograph of Marc, Craig's brother, taken in Vietnam.
Planted in 2001, Carignan vines in goblets, harvested by hand and fermented 100% whole bunch. The wine does not undergo carbonic maceration, the grape is crushed before being put in vats for three days of fermentation. It is then pressed into an old 1500 liter cask.
Follow Your Dreams is an extremely aromatic, medium bodied Carignan with aromas of crushed berries and flowers. The mouth reveals notes of sour cherry and strawberry. This wine is full of aromatic red fruits (raspberry, morello cherry, tart pomegranate), sweet violets and herbal notes. It has a lively acidity, but then evolves towards sweeter floral notes of violet and a lingering finish.
The South African sun brings just enough maturity, the young vines bring exuberance and, as Craig notes, it's the acidity that gives this wine the backbone.
Elegant and fruity red wine.
