Roc d'Anglade

Reserva Especial N°11
(no vintage)

Vin de Pays du Gard IGP

France - Languedoc

Rémy Pédréno is a demanding, idealistic winegrower who cultivates 9 hectares of vines around the village of Langlade. This Nîmes native with a sparkling eye created this estate in 1999, which has become one of the best in the region in 20 years. This estate has the particularity of having its vines exposed to the north, which guarantees the wines a great freshness.
The style is original, tending towards a search for freshness and elegance. All the vintages are worth the diversions, and provoke emotion in the wine lover. The wines stand the test of time without faltering, revealing fine and complex wines. The wines have progressed in quality thanks to ageing in casks and the vineyard is impeccably maintained. The Domaine de Roc d'Anglade produces Vins de Pays du Gard worthy of the best AOPs, and more and more popular with wine lovers. A sure value.

    Tasting notes:

Rare are the wines that express such hallucinating complexity. All the makings of a great southern wine are there. The evolution in the glass is infinite, we find in this luminous blend the finesse of the cold vintages combined with the pulpiness of the warmer ones: red and black fruits, warm spices, sweet floral fragrances, garrigue, zan... The palate offers a refined and ultra tasty setting. The tannins are still powerful but very refined, two more years and this wine will be ready, and for a very long time.
